Hi! This is hipmommy. I am the owner of this site, “Hip Mommy’s Place”. I am a mother of one 3 year old daughter and the wife of a computer architect. I am the daughter of a breast cancer and domestic abuse survivor. I work from home as a freelance graphic designer; however I always put my daughter’s needs before my freelance work.

I live in a nice town located in Midwest and own two yellow Labrador Retrievers. I started this site mainly because I love to shop online, make money online, and save a lot of money online. In addition, I would like to share some of my online money making/saving tips with other people who have the same interest.

As for my online money making, my original goal was to pay off my student loans & save up money for my daughter’s future college tuition, but I decided to put these goals to a side for the moment. My mom was physically abused by her husband in January, 2007 and she is seeking a divorce. I am currently supporting her emotionally and financially. My brother, my husband and I have been using our own money to pay for my mom’s attorney fees. Whatever money I make online is now going towards her attorney fees. It is very hard on us, but I am confident that soon my mom will be able to start her new life.
