Yorkie Puppies

I am a dog lover and I am thinking about getting a new puppy for myself:-) I have been keep telling my husband that I want a small dog like Yorkie. I love my 2 yellow labs that we have now, but our older lab is attached to my daughter & a younger lab is attached to my husband. I just want a dog of my own.....
Anyways, there is a breeder called Salt Creek kennel that has Yorkie puppy for sale. I went to their website and it seems like that they are very reputable. As I read their info, I found out that they are a certified USDA kennel and they care about quality of their puppies. It is always good to know about breeder's certifications and qualifications before purchasing a puppy.
In addition to their qualifications, Salt Creek Kennel raises their puppies at their home which is located in about 20 miles east of Tulsa, Oklahoma. Which means that their puppies are well socialized. They are very proud of what they do and very committed to their customers satisfactions.

Yorkies are cute; however, I had heard that they really have a lot of complicated medical issues, so it can get expensive (especially the toy yorkies). It is really too sad. I thought they were super cute, too, and I wanted one. My husband I started the research, and the medical issues always came up.
We ended up getting Lena (http://sassyfrazz.blogspot.com/2007/10/little-lady.html) and she is a great little dog. She is 1/2 Pug and 1/2 Japanese chin. She is a lot of fun.
Best of luck with picking out a new puppy. Don't feel like you can't get a Yorkie...I love 'em, but I just thought I would give you a heads up.
