Jazz up your Instant Messaging with SweetIM !

Our family is several hundred miles away from any relatives. Since we are always on the computer and internet, I tend to instant message with family a lot. Its quick and easy and I don't get stuck on the phone all day. My husband's family likes to talk and talk. I was chatting with my sister-in-law yesterday on yahoo and she sent me a cool emoticon. I asked her where she got them and she said SweetIM. She sent me a few more that they had and they seemed pretty cool. They didn't look anything like the basic ones of yahoo and MSN.

I installed SweetIM on one of my computers and it has a lot of cool icons. They let you add them to any IM program or web based email. I took a picture of me using them with yahoo messenger below. All you have to do is cut and paste their code into your IM or email and it automatically shows up. It was very easy for me to try and add the icons.

SweetIM seems pretty cool and its free. I will definitely use them to jazz up some of my plain and boring emails. Since its all web based, there isn't much to download at all. The best part of it is no popups or spyware. They just install a small toolbar for you to search for emoticons. Great free product!!
