My Mom's Surgery Day

My mom is going to have a major knee surgery today. I wanted to be with her, but with our financial situation and my work & daughter's school, I just can't be with her today. It is tough not being able to help her. I wish I was living in the same state. anyway, at least she has a very good friend who is willing to help her during pre-surgery and post-surgery. I am kind of nervous..... I hope that everything is going to be okay. Please pray for my mom that for a successful surgery and quick recovery. Thank you!

I hope all goes well with your mom's surgery. I had an emergency leave all last week because my dad needed an unexpected quadruple bypass and I had to fly to Florida.(I am in Texas). As I was leaving, he had just gotten out of ICU and into a room and I was basically in tears. I hated having to leave him but I had been there a whole week and needed to come home to my family. I will pray for her.
