I love herbal teas

I love herbal teas. Lately, I am addicted to drink a several different herbal teas. I'm into chamomile tea, peppermint tea, ginger tea and so on. They all seem like to relax me when I am in a stressful mood. I usually buy teas, but I make my own ginger tea from a scratch from fresh ginger that I buy from a grocery store. Well, it is not so hard to make a cup of ginger tea. You just have to cut up some ginger and boil in a pot of water. Then mix it with some fresh honey. While I'm writing this blog is making me want to go down and drink some ginger tea. Since I can't go back to sleep, I might just go down and do that...... It's almost 5:00a.m., I wish I can just go back to sleep for another hour or so.... Wish me luck.

sleeping problems

It is 4:40a.m. right now. I did not go to bed until 11:45p.m. last night and I'm already up...... I'm tired, but I keep waking up with bad dreams. Don't know what to do. I've actually have so much stuff to do today and not getting enough sleep will not help me!!!! Less sleep means that I will feel depressed throughout the day. Maybe I'll just find a way to take a nap while my little one takes a nap. It is kind of neat to be in front of the computer without any interruption though. Everyone is sound a sleep including my two dogs. It is so quiet in hear. I wish it was like this throughout the day so that I can concentrate on my work. Oh well, I guess my life is not that easy. At least I'm going out with my great friend for breakfast this morning. I have not gone out with my friend for a long time, so I'm very excited about spending time with her. I'm gonna have to take my little one with me, so I hope that she behaves. Wish me luck.

Diaper Rash

This is a Sponsored Post written by me on behalf of Boudreaux's Butt Paste. All opinions are 100% mine.

My 1 year old daughter has been dealing with diaper rash problems for the last few weeks. I've tried two major brands so far and I only see a small improvement. Today, I came across with a product called Boudreaux’s Butt Paste®. As I read information about this paste on its website, it made me realize that I need to try this product for my baby.

Boudreaux’s Butt Paste® 's information impressed me the fact that it is recommended by pediatrician and it is easy to use. It claims that it goes on and cleans off easily, just what I have been looking for in a diaper rash paste. It also provides protection for the baby's delicate skin. It contains 16% Zinc Oxide and peruvian balsam that soothes the irritated skin condition known as a diaper rash that many babies experience. The paste comes in very convenient sizes of 1oz, 2oz, 3oz and 4oz tubes, 16oz jar and single foil pack. Right now, Boudreaux’s Butt Paste is offering a free sample of its product at its website. I am going to order my free sample and will give it a try. If your precious baby is suffering from a diaper rash, I suggest you to visit the site http://www.blairex.com/BLButtPaste.php and get your own free sample as well.

In addition to the information I read on the website, I believe that this product is authentic because Boudreaux’s Butt Paste® has been featured on the following TV shows as well:

Pain Free

I have been battling with left sided body pain for the past year. I went to see many medical dr.'s specialists and they could not help me. They all had a different opinions and guessed what I had. All they wanted to give me were some strong medications. I finally got fed up with those medical dr.'s and went to a chiropractor. Within a month of treatment, I am finally pain free!!!! I just can't believe why medical dr.'s could not refer me to a chiropractor in the first place.... Any ways, I am starting to do more and more stuff again and feel like I'm getting my life back. I am hoping that I can keep this up and start working on my graphic design jobs. Wish me luck.

Keeping up with diabetes.......

I'm starting to get frustrated with keeping up on my daily 4 times a day gestational diabetes monitoring. Every time I poke my finger with a needle, it hurts! I have to always remember when I ate my last meal so that I can measure my blood sugar exactly at 2 hours after the meal. I have to do this for another 8 weeks and 3 days I can't even pig out to whatever I want because that will cause my blood sugar level to rise and it will make me feel bad. I hate being pregnant! I keep telling everyone including my husband that I will never ever get pregnant again!!!!!!!! I can't wait for this baby's arrival!!! Wish me luck. Thanks.

Iron pills

Up until recently I was taking 2 iron pills plus pre-natal vitamins. I was fine at the beginning of this treatment for my anemia problem but last week, I was getting nauseous. I was not sure what making me sick at first. When I told my doctor about it, he thought that I was starting to go through iron overdose...... He reduced my dose to 1 pill a day and thank God I feel like a brand new person!!!! I can't believe the fact that other Doctor was kept telling to take 2 pills a day despite of my sickness. I hate having a team of Doctors!!! Every time I visit for my OB check up, I get a different doctor each time and they all have different opinion on things. I wish they can all talk to each other and agree on things. Anyway, I am so glad that at least I am down to one iron pill a day now. I can't wait for this baby to come out healthy soon!

Strict Diet

Yes, I am 28 weeks pregnant however I can't eat everything I want to eat.... As some of you know from my past post, I have developed gestational diabetes. I've visited a diabetes educator early this week and also met with a dietitian. I have been poking my finger 4 times a day 2 hrs after my meal time. Only if my results are under certain blood sugar number, I am allowed to have some snack which contain 15 - 30g of carbohydrate. During a regular meal time(lunch & dinner), I am allowed to have up to 60g of carbohydrate(which is about 4 slices of bread). Yes, I can have a lot of meats and other non-carbohydrate food but I also have to make sure my calorie intake. This diet is so hard. My measuring cup has became my best friend. Now I measure everything I drink or eat. I just can't wait for this baby to born soon! Wish me luck. Thanks!

Battling with gestational diabetes

Since I found out about having gestational diabetes on Friday, I have been careful about what I eat during my meal time. This is tough. I've done this diet while I was pregnant with my first child but it is still hard for me to follow. I am only allowed to have about 30g of carb (it is about 2 slices of bread) every time I eat. I can have a lot of meat since it does not contain any carb but I still need to make sure count the calories. I also have to eat stuff that high in iron as well due to anemia. This pregnancy is really tough on me. At least I am some what recovering from my anemia but still not at the normal level. Wish me luck that I can stick with this routine of watching my diet for the next 3 month. Thanks!

Not again! Gestational Diabetes

I went to my 28 weeks diabetes screening test last Tuesday. Well, I got a phone call early this morning from my Doctor with my result. I basically failed my glucose test!!!! Not again!!!!!! I had gestational diabetes with my first daughter and I was hoping that I do not get one this time. I am so upset. I was right at the border line, too. Now I have to go through gestational diabetes education and change my diet. I know the routine but my doctor wants me to get educated about it again to refresh my memory. This pregnancy has been really tough. Now I have anemia, placenta previa and gestational diabetes. I hope that problems stop here. I can't handle anymore complications/problems with this pregnancy! I am also worried about my baby's health as well. Wish me luck to have a nice healthy baby in 13 weeks!

More complication

I have been a bit upset this week. I found out from my OB Doctor that I have a low lying placenta also known as placenta previa. It is a condition that placenta is partially or fully covering the cervix. Towards the end of my pregnancy, this condition might get fixed on its own. However, if it does not change its position by week 32, I will have to schedule an early c-section to have my baby around 37 week of my pregnancy. My doctor also has warned me that I could possibly have some virginal bleeding without any symptoms. With this condition and my anemia I am very very worried about my baby. I am just praying for my baby to born healthy. Wish me luck.

Finally doing well!

It has been tough for me for the past few months....first going though morning sickness then anemia. I was not able to do much with my blog/online money making stuff but I am finally getting my strength back to get back to my routine work. I am still not 100% back to normal but sure have more energy than before .  I miss my online income that I was making before and can't wait to start earning money.  Since my mom's divorce got settled, I am now focusing on paying off my student loan. My goal is to pay off my student loan within next 3 years. I hope I can do it!  Wish me luck!

I'm in a bad shape

Well, I am getting into week 14 of my pregnancy. However my morning sickness is still continuing On top of that, my Dr. told me that I am very anemic..... Being anemic is not fun at all. I have no energy what so ever. I am fine in the morning, but by afternoon I have not energy at all. I have been pretty much sleeping every day in the afternoon. My 4 year old daughter knows that I am sick, so she tries to comfort me by bringing me blanket and sometimes she even rubs my back. She wants me to get better soon and be able to play with her again. I hope that I can live my normal life again soon. I feel really guilty about not spending time with my daughter. Wish me luck to get better soon! Thanks!

Morning Sickness

Okay, I am almost going into 12th week of my pregnancy. According to many people, morning sickness gets better around this time....but for me its not. I am still feeling sick everyday and it is so hard for me to function. I feel so bad for my daughter. She has been pretty much placed in front of TV everyday. I hate to do this but I just can't get up and take her places. I feel like I'm on the ship all day long. No matter what position I am in, I get sick. I've tried taking extra vitamin B6 that supposed to help with nausea but it really did not work for me. I've tried drinking ginger ale, eating frequent small amount of food, you name it I tried everything. Nothing is working for me I hate being pregnant!!!! Has anyone here experienced bad morning sickness? If so how did you handle it? I need some advice please!

I'm Pregnant!

I am pregnant with my second child. This is one of the reasons why I have not been writing as much on this blog. I have been battling with morning sickness and anemia. I'm always feeling nauseous, tired and feeling sleepy. At least I have not vomitted with this pregnancy..... with my first pregnancy, I was basically hugging the toilet everyday all day.

Right now, it is tough for me to even sit at the computer desk and do my work. I have so much work backed up but I am to sick to do anything.... it is very frustrating. I hope that this morning sickness goes away soon!!!  Wish me luck.

Anemic

I just received my routine blood test result from my Dr. yesterday. My test result shows that I am a little anemic. No wonder I have been tired and no energy for the past few weeks. I basically need to start eating more iron rich food & take some iron pill supplement. I am not a big fan of taking iron pills but I'm gonna have to take it. I am getting very frustrated the fact that I am always feeling weak. I hope that I will regain my energy soon. Wish me luck!

I received an allergen reduction kit

Late last week, I received a package via FedEx. At first, I did not know what it was but I quickly realized that it was a free trial of allergen reduction kit that I signed up last month. I was given an opportunity to try out free full sized Febreze Allergen Reducer and Swiffer Dusters! I was expecting some small tiny samples, so getting full sized products really surprised me.

Since I have two yellow labs that shed all year around, using these two products really made a difference in my cleaning routine. My daughter used to dust around the house with a towel in the past, so she was really happy to use the new Swiffer Duster! Just look at my pictures below. I love this Swiffer Duster! It really picks up all kinds of dusts in no time!

As for the Febreze Allergen Reducer Spray, I've already sprayed it in my bedrooms, living room and so on. According to the information sheet that I received along with the package, Febreze Allergen Reducer fabric spray reduces up to 75% of allergens and that can possibly become airborne from fabrics. I go through allergy problems all the time, so I was very excited about the product. I've been using Febreze Allergen Reducer fabric spray since last Friday and I am starting to notice that my indoor allergy symptoms have starting to subside.

Based on my experiece, I am giving these products A+ and will keep using them in the future. If you would like to reduce allergens in your household, I highly recommend using these two products.

Back from my therapy

I left my home at 9:30a.m. this morning for my physical therapy session. It took me about 45 minutes to get to the physical therapy office. I guess all the therapists were pretty busy today. I was doing all of my routine stretches, but I had to wait for my therapist to come...... I thought that I was going to be in there for 40 minutes, but I ended up staying there for a whole hour:-(  By the time I got home, it was already lunch time. The therapy itself is helping me, but stretches that I do at the office are the same stretch that I do at home. I'm just going to see how I feel next week and talk to the therapist to see if I can do all of the exercises at home. Visiting a therapist is costing me $20 in co-pay plus gas and driving time every week, so hopefully I only have to see her one more time. Wish me luck.
