This holiday season Sears is offering a special program called the Sears Heroes at Home program. This program is to support and to fulfill the wishes for military families. It is located at Sears Heroes at Home Wish Registry. Many military families have signed up and each family has their own story to tell about their needs.

My brother was in the Army a few years ago. He was deployed to Iraq so I understand what most military families are going through during the holiday season. Its hard not having their loved ones home. Thankfully, my brother came home safe. I know there are many more American troops out there who will be missing this holiday season with their loved ones. I think that this is a great opportunity for me or anyone out there to help out our heroes who are working hard for our country.

These military family members are not asking for much. Some are asking for a Christmas tree for their kids or kids' shoes, clothing and so forth.
