Our house has been invaded by all kinds of animals & bugs since last year. I had whole bunch of hornworms (known as tomato worms) in my garden last summer, a mouse was in our house late last year, rabbits making nests under our deck(our dogs usually catch some baby bunnies and they end up dead) and we just discovered a Robin's nest inside our kitchen cabinet last night!!!!! I kept hearing bird flopping and chirping, but never thought that a bird would come in through our kitchen vent that is connected to outside. Just look at the pictures below. This perfect nest had 6 eggs. I felt so bad about these eggs so I carefully moved the nest into a basket(wearing gloves) and hang it outside near where the mother robin was coming in and out of our house. My husband has put a cover on side of our house so that no birds can get into our kitchen anymore. I hope that mother robin can find her eggs and take care of them.

I love animals. As most of you know by reading my past post, I own two beautiful Labrador Retrievers. They are my precious babies. I do treat them like my own kids.
